The suit is made of nylon duck material, very similar to the real suit. The hut, backpack, and helmet are hand laid fiberglass and painted with two part epoxy paint. The suit is lined with quilted cotton material, to give it the full look. It comes with a pressurized backpack, ball bearing motor, and a nicad rechargeable battery pack for cooling the person inside. All patches, insignias, and flags are velcroed, for removing during the washing of the suit. A 24k gold visor is backed by a clear visor to protect the gold. Chest pack fittings are hand cast and polished aluminum. The neck ring is machined turned, with an anodized, aluminum, two piece twist lock.
